Harry Ramsden's
Re-Brand of the forgotten British Institution
Harry Ramsden's has struggled over recent years to keep customer's coming back, as their brand has desperately needed a revamp for many years. I saw this problem and decided to work on re-branding the restaurant.

When I spoke to people about Harry Ramsden's, people often got very nostalgic about the place; about the quality of food and the style of the restaurants. However, this looks very dated in modern times. I wanted to keep the nostalgic seaside themes, but refresh the overall feel of the business. The brand felt neglected and I wanted to remind people why they used to like it, or why they should try it now.

I worked with the existing brand delicately, as to not loose the fondness people have for the brand but to refresh it and bring it to a wider target audience. Below are images of the logo re-design, as well as it's application on such things as a Smartphone App, designed to encourage customers to try a wider range of fish and stop the overfishing of Cod. I have also created a brand manual, to explain how the new brand should be used.
